Our Vision
JSF seeks a world without poverty, smart health facilities for all, education for all, cultural understanding and environmental care with society.
"Empowering Our Roots to Embrace the Skies — a foundation that belongs to each and every person who wants to make a difference, who thinks that change begins from each of us."
Jansankalp Foundation (Sankalp) originated in 2005, when Balaji and Harini — classmates from the mid-1990s in Anantapur District of Andhra Pradesh — began giving back to their roots in a structured way. They were joined early by Anand, along with classmates like Nagaraj and many others. Though most migrated out of the state, they stayed connected to their villages, districts, and to India as a whole, contributing in different ways.
It is a family-driven organization. What began with a focus on the rural poor gradually expanded to the urban poor, while also supporting social impact organizations. Amit Bhai joined the family in support of MedOnGo and Primary Care; the contributions of Puneet Gurnani and Shri Deepak Gurnani ji have been equally vital — involved in all ways, without taking any official positions.
Jansankalp works across health, education, environment, culture, and agricultural sustainability — towards all-round rural development and community building, with the goal of enabling villages to become self-reliant, while preserving the Dharmic ethos of the roots we come from.
The foundation was formally registered as a Section 8 company under the Companies Act, 2013, in the year 2021. It has never taken external funding — all activities are self-funded by the individuals mentioned above and their immediate families. Neither the organization nor the families claim any tax benefits for these contributions.
JSF seeks a world without poverty, smart health facilities for all, education for all, cultural understanding and environmental care with society.
To make the world a better place for all — and to ensure a better living environment for the poor, the needy and low-income families.
We put health at the centre, because we cannot overcome other objectives until we have a healthy society and a pandemic-free atmosphere.
The Foundation was seeded by Shree Purushotham Naidu Krishnammagaru — a farmer, an airman, a banker, and a lifelong believer in Dharma.
